Question 1

What is a RAID log?

Accepted Answer

A RAID log is a running record of Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions. Most logs die after kickoff. PMHub keeps all four types in one living log, linked to stakeholders and notes. Free includes bounded status-pack snapshots; Professional adds RAID Insights for attention signals and the full Excel workbook export.

Question 2

Why do RAID logs fail even when people have one?

Accepted Answer

Because the log is not where work happens, and there is no habit of keeping it current. PMHub keeps RAID linked to stakeholders and notes; Professional RAID Insights can surface attention signals, so updating and escalating is part of delivery instead of a separate spreadsheet chore.

Question 3

RAID log vs risk register: what is the difference?

Accepted Answer

A risk register usually focuses on risks alone. A full RAID log adds actions, issues, and decisions in one place. PMHub supports the full RAID model with workflows tuned to each type.

Question 4

Can I use PMHub as an online RAID log for multiple projects?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each project has its own RAID log. On Free you can have 1 active project with up to 50 RAID items in total across your workspace, plus bounded status-pack snapshots for sharing. Pro adds unlimited projects, unlimited RAID items, and the full Excel workbook export. See the Pricing page for full plan details.

Question 5

Can I upload an existing RAID log into PMHub?

Accepted Answer

Yes. PMHub lets you upload an existing RAID log so you do not have to recreate your risks, actions, issues, and decisions manually. This makes it easier to move from spreadsheet-based tracking into a structured RAID workspace.

Question 6

Do I have to start with a blank RAID log?

Accepted Answer

No. You can create RAID items directly in PMHub or upload an existing RAID log to start from the work you already have.

Question 7

Why upload a RAID log instead of keeping it in Excel?

Accepted Answer

A spreadsheet can capture RAID items, but it usually sits apart from where attention lives. Sheets win on speed. They lose when RAID has to stay multiplayer and current. PMHub lets you import that existing RAID data, keep it linked to stakeholders and Atlas notes, and still export to Excel when someone needs a file.
